This line of chocolate is not your traditional “candy”. It is more of an antioxidant-rich superfood with many proven health benefits present in dark chocolate. So naturally, it was marketed more for it’s medicinal aspects than as a candy. The beans were bought on the fair-trade market direct from Peruvian farmers to help with the micro-economy of those mountain regions.
