Established
a specialty management consulting firm providing interim executive,
due diligence, and strategic planning services to technology startups,
venture capital firms and large corporations.
Clients include: Elecon,
Triton Systems/SI2, 3DTL, Battery Ventures, ITU Ventures, Intel,
Sarnoff Corporation and Dow Corning.
Within
12 months at 3DTL, as acting CEO, instituted a complete turn around
transitioning the company from an unprofitable government funded
research firm to a profitable commercial products company. Accomplished
this through severe budget cuts (no layoffs) to conserve cash, extensive
primary market research and development of commercial sector strategy,
identification of two strategic partners and securing long term
agreements with both.

6 months at Elecon, as acting CEO, developed a more focused strategy
(one product, one market), empowered senior executives with department

a conscious effort to develop / prove my sales abilities, left marketing
and joined the sales force to lead business development for the
Advanced Systems Division (which I founded). Identified and closed
top specialty distributors and major OEMs for these Unix & Windows
NT-based multiprocessor computer systems.
Transitioned
to a geographic role and sold the complete Wyse product line to
OEMs, distributors, VARs, system integrators and large retailers
in the western US. Consistent top performer. Developed and implemented
first comprehensive region development plan in company history.

Co-founded
this venture financed computer systems company which was acquired
by Wyse Technology and became the Advanced Systems Division. Developed

launched initial products that generated over $5 million in first

first functional marketing team for this computer systems company.
Recruited all key personnel, implemented “business team” process
for product planning and release, developed sophisticated pricing
and cost models, implemented key third party programs and successfully
launched two new major system products.

Designed
and implemented a primary market research program to identify high
